Buoy Race Courses — RC version

Courses for the point-to-point races

Courses Mark :
4: North-East- South Wind
5: North Wind
R: Northwest-West-Southwest Wind
In no wind be patient, take a position half way between 4 and R and wait.

Note: It is more important to set a good course than to start on time. If the wind changes substantially after beginning the starting sequence but before the first start, do not hesitate to postpone the start and change the course. This may include moving to another starting mark. If the course is changed before the starting sequence begins and there is no need for a postponement flag, fire the gun twice to attract attention.

Flags : B = Black, G = Green, O = Orange, Y = Yellow; are read top down or bow to stern

Mark numbers, under the Course, are from the Race Chart in the SSSS Year Book
Marks T and W are temporary marks and can be used only if you set them
Marks in brackets [ ] to Starboard, all others to Port
Distances are total distance after each lap in NM.
