South Sound Sailing Societys
South Sound Sailing Society is fortunate to have members who are models of good sportsmanship, both on and off the water. These members give of their time and conduct themselves in ways that help make sailing in south Puget Sound even better.
The South Sound Sailing Society Sportsmanship Award is presented annually to one member who has distinguished him- or herself in service to the club or to sailing in general. The nomination is made by the Board, after consideration of the many contributions that SSSS members make. It is always a difficult decision.
The award is presented each spring at the June Awards Ceremonies. If you know of someone who has made a significant contribution to sailing in the South Sound, either through their actions out on the water or through activities ashore, please contact a Board member to nominate that person for the Sportsmanship Award.
