SSSS BB

The SSSS Bulletin Board is back, with changes designed to keep it civil. But mostly that is ultimately up to the people who use it. So please use restraint. Here is how it now works.

The SSSS Bulletin Board is for the enjoyment, education and communication among SSSS Members. Members and their family members may participate, if they agree to follow the guidelines listed below. Non-Members will not be allowed to participate in the Bulletin Board at this time.

Because the board is limited to Members, registrations need to be checked manually. Make sure the person processing your registration can identify you. It may take a day or two to process your registration. So do not wait to register until you want to post, do it now. But read the Guidelines below first; by registering, you agree to be bound by these Guidelines.

Guidelines.
  1. All messages are property of the South Sound Sailing Society and the Society reserves the right without notice to move, edit, delete, save any post, and suspend the Bulletin Board privileges of Members who do not follow these guidelines.
  2. Views and opinions expressed on the Bulletin Board are of the respective authors and not necessarily those of South Sound Sailing Society.
  3. All posts shall be suitable for a general audience.
  4. There will be no disrespect to others. If you do not agree with the person’s opinion, you are still expected to be open-minded and courteous to the other person.

The SSSS Board appointed Bulletin Board moderators. The role of the moderator is to implement the controls listed in Guidelines, with the exception of suspending privileges. The SSSS board is the sole authority to suspend the violator’s privileges to the BB.
