We made our name catchier and more upbeat, but the goal remains the same. Show the soldiers a great time on the water. July 14, 2012 we will host 15 soldiers and staff for an afternoon on the water followed with a Bar-B-Que at Swantown.

We have enough boats lined up so now we are looking for hands to help assemble the food, flip the burgers, park the cars, all the things that make a party a success. We don’t know yet how many people will be there, but if you are part of South Sound you are invited to come on by and visit our soldiers. We’ll be having an RSVP sheet for attendance at the May and June Meeting or you can let me know at naturescenes@comcast.net. That way there are hamburgers and goodies for you when you show up.
