We awarded a lot of trophies to a lot of people. Dave took photos of some of them.
Judy Maclean presented the new Maclean Memorial Trophy to Ian Christopher, skipper of Uproar, for winning the Maclean Memorial Race, formerly the McHerron Island Race.
This was an emotional moment. At this banquet a year ago Bill Maclean was receiving awards.
Commodore Mike Wilson presented the SSSS Sportsmanship Award to Susanne Ames for her service to the Club and to the sport. She has served as Commodore, RC Chair, Member-at-Large, Toliva Shoal Race Chair, Southern Sound Series Chair, as well as organising the Adams Cup. And I probably left something out. She left her mark as each.
