View from the RC Boat
This was a new event and was open to boats thirty feet and under. Susanne Windels organised it, ran the RC boat and took these photos (yes, they were taken in black and white).
We want to thank her, and the rest of the RC crew: Jeanne Wagner, Carol Cook, and Robert Walker of Budd Inlet Sailing Club.
The RC boat anchored just north of Priest Point. The weather mark was anchored to the Northwest. We got in three races in the afternoon. Then, after putting the boats away, we regrouped at Capt’n Ron’s to evaluate.
Everyone I know that raced had such a good time, despite the light winds, that we decided to do it again on August 17.
