1997 Reciprocal Award Winer

The Flounder Bay Yacht Club, in Anacortes, is the South Sound Sailing Society’s Reciprocal Award winner for 1997. The comments that earned FBYC this recognition ranged from easy access at the dock, to the friendly greetings from the club members. The sign in process could not have been simpler and the local amenities were close by.

Located in Flounder Bay, on the southwest side of the Anacortes peninsula, the FBYC is ideally placed for access to the San Juan Islands or as a start point to the Canadian Gulf Islands.

Flounder Bay Yacht Club will recieve a letter signed by the Cruise Chairs, Hunter and Debi Davis, and the SSSS Commodore, Mark Swartout.

All SSSS Members are encouraged to use the reciprocal privileges whenever possible. Fly the SSSS burgee high and proudly. When you get home, write the organizations whose facilities you used and let them know how much you appreciated them.

Thanks again to the Flounder Bay Yacht Club.

Hunter Davis, Puffin
